Why the U.K.

Why Founders Choose a U.K. Limited Company

Fast to incorporate, globally recognised, and open to anyone — wherever you live.

A Name Buyers Recognise

A U.K. limited company carries weight with customers, suppliers and partners worldwide — one of the most recognised business structures there is.

Limited Liability

The company is a separate legal person, separating your personal assets from company debts, subject to applicable law.

Real Banking Options

Tide, Wise, Payoneer and more. We prepare the applications; each provider decides approval on its own criteria.

Open to Non-Residents

You do not need to live in the U.K., hold a visa, or ever visit. All three packages work for non-resident founders.

Fast, Digital Incorporation

Companies House processes online applications quickly. We review your details before submission so avoidable rejections do not cost you days.

Room to Grow

Add shareholders, raise investment, register for VAT and PAYE, and hire — on a structure built to scale.

Light Ongoing Admin

Compared with many jurisdictions, a U.K. company is straightforward to maintain: a confirmation statement and annual accounts.

Marketplace Friendly

A recognised U.K. entity smooths onboarding with marketplaces, suppliers and B2B customers across Europe and beyond.

Sound Familiar?

The Problems We Hear Most

Unsure which package offers the best value for your business

Not sure which business addresses you actually need

Comparing formation providers but struggling to compare what's really included

Want to understand the ongoing costs before making a decision

Looking for banking and payment solutions after incorporation

Need long-term support, not just company registration

An Honest Answer

Is a U.K. Company Right for You?

We would rather tell you no than sell you the wrong structure.

Built for

Freelancers and consultants billing international clientsSoftware houses, IT companies and SaaS businessesMarketing, design and digital agenciesAmazon, eCommerce and marketplace sellersImport, export and trading companiesStartups wanting a credible base for global customersDigital nomads and international entrepreneursAnyone who wants a structure customers recognise worldwide

Probably not, if

  • Your customers, staff and premises are all in one other country — you would be filing in two places for no benefit
  • You need a work permit or visa — a U.K. company gives you neither
  • You want to stay anonymous — directors and shareholders appear on the public register, though a service address keeps your home off it
  • You cannot commit to annual filings — a U.K. company must file whether or not it trades

Not the right fit? Say so on a call — we also form U.S. and Pakistan companies, and we will point you at whichever actually suits.

For Non-Residents

You Do Not Need to Live in the U.K.

There is no residency, citizenship or visa requirement to own or direct a U.K. limited company. All three packages are open to non-residents — and All-Inclusive exists because that is what founders abroad actually need.

  • No requirement to visit the U.K.
  • U.K. addresses provided — your overseas address will not serve
  • HMRC Corporation Tax, VAT and PAYE registration handled
  • Application assistance for multi-currency banking

A U.K. company does not grant you a visa, work permit or right to enter the U.K. Immigration is a separate matter for a qualified immigration adviser.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a U.K. Limited Company?

It is a company registered at Companies House that exists as a separate legal person from you. The business owns its own assets, signs its own contracts, and its debts are its own rather than yours — subject to applicable law. It is the most common business structure in the U.K.

Why choose a U.K. limited company?

A U.K. company is recognised almost everywhere, which removes friction with customers, suppliers and platforms. Incorporation is fast and fully digital, ongoing admin is light compared with many countries, and the structure scales — you can add shareholders, register for VAT and hire staff as you grow.

Can non-residents register a U.K. company?

Yes. There is no residency, citizenship or visa requirement to own or direct a U.K. limited company. All three of our packages work for non-residents, and All-Inclusive is built specifically for founders abroad who want to be trading rather than just registered.

Do I need to visit the U.K.?

No. The entire process is handled remotely — you send your details, we review and file with Companies House, and your documents arrive by email. Most of our U.K. clients have never set foot in the country.

How long does incorporation take?

Companies House commonly approves digital applications quickly, often within one to two working days once your details are verified. Timing is their decision, not ours. Our pre-submission review — included in every package — exists to stop avoidable errors adding days to that.

What documents will I receive?

Every package includes your certificate of incorporation, memorandum and articles of association, digital company documents and your web authentication code. All-Inclusive adds your share certificate and company register.

Can I own 100% of the company?

Yes. One person can hold all the shares and act as the sole director. There is no requirement for a local partner, nominee or second shareholder.

Do I need a U.K. resident director?

No. Directors can live anywhere in the world. At least one director must be a natural person aged 16 or over. What you do need is a U.K. registered office address, which is included in all three packages.

Can I change company details later?

Yes. Directors, shareholders, the registered office and even the company name can all be changed after incorporation by filing the right forms with Companies House. Tell us what needs to change and we will handle the filing.

Which package should I choose?

Essentials at £49 if you only need the company itself. Privacy at £149 if you would rather your home address stayed off the public register. All-Inclusive at £324 if you want tax registrations, a trading address and the tools to start trading straight away. Each is plus the £100 Companies House fee.
